New York is especially charming at Christmas. The magical feeling spreads with larger than life Christmas trees and wondrous displays. All over Manhattan there are amazing installations that are particularly impressive by night. From Wall Street to Radio City Hall, and the Rockefeller Centre are unbelievably huge Christmas trees.
Having visited Manhattan numerous times over the years in the Summer it was our first trip in the winter. It was really cold, but fortunately there was no snow this year. Christmas is particularly wonderful in Manhattan. Everything is lit up and there’s a charm about sipping hot chocolates eating cupcakes from Magnolia’s whilst walking down 5th Avenue, in preparation for a obligatory skate in Central Park. The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular show is one not to be missed as it only comes around at Christmas.
