Imli street Is nestled in a prime location in Soho, serving assortments of Indian streetfood. The decor is understated, with exposed brick and has a rather cool vibe. It has a markedly different feel to the rather formal, fine dining, Michelin starred sister restaurant, Tamarind.
The tandoori platter of succulent salmon tikka, paneer, lamb chops and malai chicken is all tender, well seasoned and spicy. The mint chutney is the perfect accompaniment.
The blend of buttery, creamy dal makhni with hot, light fluffy naan bread is rather delectable.
The tandoori apple crumble is smokey and scrumptious. The cocktail menu was pretty impressive. It’s a great central spot for an authentic curry and we can’t wait to go back for more.
