Playback are an experienced Melbourne based Wedding band playing a huge variety of music to suit all tastes from the 70’s through to today’s modern hits. Fronted by either one or two female singers, Playback are able to tailor their material to suit you, your event and your guests whether you are looking for something quiet and conservative for dinner, or something loud and rambunctious to really get the party started!

Playback offer MC services as part of the package! We’ll liaise with you and your venue to make sure that your perfect night goes off without a hitch (although we can’t vouch for Uncle Tom’s dancing or the embarrassing Best Man’s speech…!)

Playback are happy to learn requests so that you can truly make your evening something truly personal and memorable. Whether it’s a slow Waltz for your first dance or that B-side from that band you heard on Triple J on your first date – just send us the track and we’ll learn it for you (6-8 weeks notice required depending on material). Likewise – be sure to let us know what you DON’T want so we can steer clear of it on your special night – because not everyone wants to celebrate their everlasting love with Jessie’s Girl…

As well as providing the perfect soundtrack for your perfect night, Playback can also help you set the mood with lighting as well. With a full stage lighting set up on hand (complete with smoke machine if desired), Playback can also provide additional venue lighting such as fairy lights, floods and washes.
