With great memories from our first visit, Tree Tops Sky Dining & Bar, Anantara has to be our favourite restaurant in the world.The moment you enter you know you have arrived somewhere quite unique. Walking up and down the staircases intertwined in the trees you reach your personal treehouse. Standing tall, at the top treehouse, overlooking the sunset and sea is really romantic.
The fine dining experience is like no other. The attention to detail is outstanding. You are presented with an array of salt, from across the globe, to accompany your meal, and a selection of knives to choose to carve your meat. Each course is presented beautifully and melts in your mouth. As the sun goes down, you wouldn’t want the experience to end.
Until we heard a small thud on the table and a small gecko fell from the lights and scurried across the table. After a little scream and being brought back to reality, it was a reminder we were in the wilderness. Suddenly we became hyperaware of the sounds of bats and crickets. However all was quickly forgotten once we saw the spectacular dessert. Tree Tops is a fine dining experience of a lifetime and not to be missed.
